As chairman of the “Plastic Extrusion Asia” conference, I am pleased to invite you to this important event.  This two-day conference will be held in the Century Park Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand on March 17-18, 2008.  Extrusion experts from all over the world will be speaking at this conference.  The emphasis will be on practical extrusion issues.

With global competition, companies are forced to make their extrusion operations more efficient.  Information will be presented at this conference on methods to improve extrusion rates, process stability, and product quality.  Some machinery will be introduced at this conference for the very first time.

The conference will focus on new developments in  extrusion and methods to improve existing extrusion operation. Papers will be presented on high speed single screw extrusion, advances in twin screw compounding and reactive extrusion, foam extrusion, advanced profile extrusion techniques, new machinery to produce fiber filled polymers, process monitoring and troubleshooting, etc. The conference will be followed by a one-day seminar on profile extrusion and a two-day seminar on troubleshooting extrusion problems.  An exhibition of  extrusion machinery and extrusion related services is planned with the conference.
